Introduction
The PMD-5101-DL is a low cost high performance Step Motor Driver, designed for OEM use, as well as for labs and educational environment, and includes integrated travel limit and reference switch inputs.
This driver is Series-5000 Compatible, making it simple to wire easy to operate, enabling 16 steppers operation by a Series-5000 Quad controller, while taking advantage of the rich, free of charge, software package.
This driver includes automatic current reduction at stand still, for power saving and for reasonable heat level keeping, current source method for best efficiency and high speed capabilities of up to 3000 RPM, internal pulse generator for testing and for manual operation, matching pre assembled cables for immediate integration.
