Series-5000 Overview

Series-5000 is the latest and most innovative Motion Control product series from Superior Solutions, based on a completely new outlook on Motion System Development.

Machine Control
The system's software package includes both a vast motion control knowledge base and HMI features to enable users to define their own needs, to select the most appropriate building blocks for their motion systems and to assemble them accordingly. All Series-5000 modules are capable of synchronized linear and circular interpolation moves and include both motion control ability as well as discrete I/O control, serial ports control and software sequencer, thus enabling overall machine control.

System Integration
The Series-5000 system integration task can be performed by any user. No wiring is required since all system components have standard connectors. Connecting the complete motion system (contoller, driver(s), motor(s) and limit switches) takes less than 5 minutes.

Software Features
The Series-5000 system software package may be divided into 3 levels of uses:

• Commands Library: A comprehensive set of (API) commands intended for programmer use.
• Sequence Generator: For simple implementation of machine operation by the end user.
• Operating Panel : Control all system's features and montiors current status.

All Series 5000 products include an extensive software package free of additional charge.
